Forged Men's Ministry is focused on bringing Christian men together so that we can build one another up in the faith. Our families desperately need strong husbands and fathers who can love, protect, and lead them as God desires. Our communities need strong and courageous men who will stand up and lead others to Christ. Our churches need to raise up a new generation of faithful men who can serve as preachers, teachers, and elders, and who can lead the work of the Kingdom into the future.

Forged gives men a chance to come together as brothers, build friendships, hold one another accountable, and sharpen each other as iron sharpens iron. We hold quarterly Forged events here at LMCC. There is good food, fellowship, a time of singing praises to God, and an excellent guest speaker who can challenge and equip us to stand up and be the men God has called us to be. These events are open to men and boys of all ages, and we encourage men to bring their sons (or grandsons, nephews, etc.) so that our young guys can see men finding strength in God and in one another.

Our next Forged Men's Event will be held here at Lake Mount Church of Christ (6290 State Rt 7, New Waterford, OH, 44445) on Saturday, June 14 at 6pm!

At each of our events, we will choose a Forged Heavy Lifter and present them with a championship belt! These are men who have gone above and beyond for the good of the Kingdom, and who exemplify what it looks like to be a man of God.

This month's Forged Heavy Lifter is Artie Cline! Artie is one of our elders here at Lake Mount Church of Christ, and has served in that office for several years. Artie is one of the kindest and most loving people we know. He is truly dedicated to God's Word and to prayer. Artie does a wonderful job of shepherding the flock here at Lake Mount. He also teaches children's classes, and helps out with many other ministries in the church. Artie is an excellent example of what it looks like to be a man of God, and we are truly blessed to have him as one of our elders!
